About Us



Locally owned Asante Health System is the region's most comprehensive health care provider and its flagship hospital Rogue Valley Medical Center has played a leading role in the Rogue Valley's emergence as the area's premier source for health care.



Asante, a tax-exempt health system that serves more than 550,000 residents in nine southern Oregon and northern California counties, is governed by a volunteer board of directors composed of local physicians and community leaders.

Asante works to accommodate employees’ family lives by offering excellent on-site childcare and flexible schedules for part-time and some full-time positions. Job sharing is an option in some positions. An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free confidential assessment and referral, or brief counseling at no charge, to employees and their immediate families. EAP also provides support internally when employees, or groups of employees, need assistance with job-related challenges.





Asante’s employees are encouraged each year to participate in the free Employee Wellness Program. The program includes a health-risk analysis, cholesterol and glucose testing, weight-loss and smoking-cessation programs and guidance in improving lifestyle.





Asante employs a nurse practitioner to provide free health services to employees. The Employee Health Nurse treats minor illnesses and offers free immunizations for flu and other communicable diseases that are high risk for health-care workers.
